    Default My latest M1 helmet

    Hi, bought this one last night.
    Its a front seam ,swivel bale MCcord with a Capac liner.
    According to seller its an estate sale find.

    very nice salty M-1 the liner sweatband is post war so very well used indeed the only thing im not sure about is the liner chin strap it seems to be made of thicker leather than US versions which my indicate euro clone ?

    The liner sweatband is indeed green od, so its post war.
    Nick, in my opinion it does not seem that thick but the first thing i will do is post photos of it, when it arrives

    When it comes you can tell us who the liner maker is, you never know it might be a rarer one.
    It looks like it has a brass “J” hook and mild steel buckle. I don’t know if that’s common or not.
