Hi I just received in the mail my new fixed bail helmet with canteen and belt! The helmet has a little rust but has both straps, the liner is complete but has a broken chinstrap and is a firestone. The inside of the helmet has some rust and the liner has some rust stains but im still so happy its finally here! Also the canteen is dated 1942 and the maker is JEFF QMD. The belt has B6331 on it too. But what im curious about is what does the CG-50009-F stands for? All comments are welcome! Thanks - Nick K

i would say $150-$200 maybe a little more if the number was traceable.

Thanks again I bought the helmet and the canteen with belt for $85 including shipping! and I used my book THE M-1 HELMET OF THE WORLD WAR 2 GI and i was able to date it to about Mid to late 1942. Also How can I get the stains out of the shell and the liner? - Nick K

i would leave as is so that if you ever sell it on it shows the liner & shell have been together for sometime all collectors like their purchases to as found & as untouched as possible
