My new helmet liner!

Article about: To me it is still a good item. WW2 pattern liner and carrying a name with some research behind it. Works for me even if just post war. Cheers, Ade.

    Today i purchased this helmet liner at a flea market. I love it but i think i paid a little too much $80 what do you think? - Nick K

    Looks like a nice liner to me. My philosophy is if you pay a little more than "today's rate" then you just have to hang on to it a little longer! Best of luck.

    Its just the liner and the full name is Robert W Brode 13198435. Can anyone help me find this guy and also is there anything you can tell me about him based on the numbers in the serial number? - Nick K

    not really as it has a lot going for it its an MSA liner which is one of the more sort after makers, its complete & its named so $80 is a good price

    didn't notice that so he enlisted to late to take part in WW2 only served a year so didn't even see service in the Korean war unless theres more to his records that isn't being shown but unfortunately that's as much info as i have access to !

    perhaps he served a year in the army then transferred to another branch of the armed services maybe ??
