They were all purchased at "Surplus" stores and second-hand thrift stores
over the last 12 years. I have had to replace the chin straps and headbands
on some when I could find them.

these sorts of things never turn up in the junk / charity shops here so mine have all come from ebay. i have another one on its way that should hopefully be with me soon which may have an interesting story but i will show & tell when it arrives
