Default Named front seam, fixed bale pot found in GARBAGE!

To make a long story short... My family owns a recycling company. Militaria comes in from time to time. I saved a named M35 double decal the other from the grinder the other day... This was picked off of the scrap heap today!

I'm still learning, but I'm pretty sure it's a front seam, fixed bale M1. Other than the missing bale and liner, it looks like it's in good shape.

    What do you guys think?

Maybe its unmarked, but i doubt it, some maker marks are very thin and with dust and dirt, sometimes they are easily missed. Thats what happened to me.
If you want to know manufacture date, you do need to find them.
    Anyway great lid.
    I like it.
    Cheers.

Jeez man, I have to go get a job at the place where you work!

This is a bit saddening though. Imagine how many great pieces of militaria have been thrown out since WWII. You found this stuff in a few weeks at one dump. Try every dump in the world for 60+ years!

It boggles my mind... I'll do my best to stop any good militaria from being thrown away here ever again!

    Hi gizmo,
Great find and well done for spotting it, thats another one that will be saved, are you going to get a good liner for it ? as it woud be a good display piece, and you could research the J Ely who own it.
