New M-1 purchase

its been a while since i bought an M-1 this one came up on another forum for sale & thought it was quite interesting as it has a WW2 Westinghouse liner with a 80's dated sweatband & the shell is a 60's era version with a cool camo scheme as to when this was applied i don't have a clue neither dose the seller but i like it

Nice lid. I think the camo on the shell must have been done by taking some leaves or twigs or something and spray painting around them?

to be honest i have no clue about the liner paint job but at a guess i would say some sort of honor guard or ceremonial use it looks to have had decals on each side at some point but nothing remains to find out what they were.
