    Looks like a nice solid fixed bale. Liner seems in decent shape too. Great helmet.

    Approximate year of manufacture?? 1942 ?

    Looks honest enough to me. Sweatband may be a post WWII replacement. Consider a replacement authentic leather chinstrap to complete it!

    Sweatband is postwar, but the helmet is fine.

    Very nice all round condition especially the chinstraps,but it always breaks my heart to see a nice early shell paired with a late war liner,the question is when were they paired,but still a really hardly used nice original fixed Bale Helmet.

    I would replace the head band also. The shoestring type loop at the top of the liner was also replaced.
