Question: Original US ARMY FRONT SEAM HELMET & LINER?

I would like to know your oppinion on this US M1 Helmet.

Is it a WWII period helmet or later issue?

Who is the liner maker?

all looks good to me with this WW2 helmet front seamed swivel bail with what looks to be a INTERNATIONAL MOLDED PLASTICS, INC (IMP) made liner i would give this one the thumbs up

The OD painted A-washers are mid-war...but the chinstraps on the pot look like they are OD, which is late-war. Still a good looking helmet!

A very nice lid, the liner is in incredible condition for the year, nice mid war/late war combo.Thanks for sharing this one.

It's interesting to see a nape strap with steel snaps, usually they are brass.

also check under the visor inside your steel shell, see if you can find a S I think it might be a Schlueter shell
