Question: Vietnam Era Helmet Liner Colors

Question: Can anyone help me identify the color scheme on this Vietnam era helmet liner? Picked it up at auction but am having trouble figuring out the job associated with the maroon and white colors.

Never seen those colours before,maybe a training/cadet academy,the shell is a great looking KW made McCord with original paint and T1 chinstrap hardware,good pickup well done..............
