imo $30-$40
That is a good liner. About $40
wow im suprised it would be that much considering it has no chin strap and the markings on the headband are faded.
Yea. I cannot tell if it is Vietnam or not. But, the chinstraps are cheap. If it is post Nam, $30 without chinstrap. If it is Nam, then $40-50. Paratrooper liners are worth a goo amount, no matter when they are from. Does it have any markings on the side of the helmet? Does it have any marks on the crown of the helmet? (inside top). Also, what color is the inside of the liner? Is it a red-orange or a light green?
Yeah on the inside of the helmet, there is a number 6 on the side that looks like this: -6- and the color is orange.
Then it is a paratrooper liner made anywhere from 1966-1976.
Great! thats awesome. Thank you for the evauluation. I have been waiting for months now trying to figure out the info on this thing. Once again, Thanks!
not to hijack an old thread, but what would you give for a 1967 unissued type 2 liner with everything except the headband (it has the little book they were issued with) in pretty much perfect condition minus the outer paint being kinda scratched up from storage in a box of surplus?
I have several unissued chinstraps for that liner.
