Definitely post WW2. Could even be post Vietnam. Markings inside the sweatband will give you a date.

Hi Gary the colour looks a little orange but think thats direct sunlight shining onto the liner,looks to be an SPP type 11 Liner from either 1983/86 contract,the very last Liners produced,and they don't sit well inside the shell either..................
