Not a paratroop M1 guy but I know the maker of the Liner is important to know. Not every maker made them

Can you get a zoomed out picture of the chinstraps with the shell?

I think it's a fake. M1C's should be in the 1000/1100 range on heat stamps. With an S stamped into the shell would be wrong too, don't think Schleuter produced any M1C's. What do the yokes look like where they are attached to the liner? Im guessing the chinstraps were added onto an original WW2 manufactured helmet. Is it a Front or Rear seam? Paint looks a little off, with that heat stamp it should be a front seam with a stainless steel rim, but I dont see any stainless steel.

    Hello
The S is stamped in the liner not the shell. Shell is Mc Cord 586C. Front seam.
    Stainless steel rim.
    Color is repainted.
Yokes are attached under the lining.
    Thanks for the info!!

the things I don't like are.
I don't like the fact the nape strap support folds back on itself under the "A" washer. I've only seen this on early liners. if it were a rigger modified liner it would not have this unless the rigger renewed this part of the webbing as well at that time.
Also don't like how the female snap appears to have no patina (very shiny) . compare it to the brass chinstrap stud.
    As for the shell
cant tell if its got a repo strap but I must admit the brass hard wear looks as if they have been aged.
might be wrong but it is one I would shy away from.

OD3 chinstraps on the shell are aged reproductions, I can tell by the hardware. Also, Schlueter never made M1C shells.
Westinghouse jump liner is late or post-war rigger made.
