US ww2 helmet?
Article about: by NCA The liner looks to have the insignia for the 4th Infantry Division.What is the white mark on the side? It hard to tell, but can be a regiment symbol?

I agree with Good pwny. The pics right now indicate post war referbish helmet and liner. Larger pics can sure things up and provide better info.

it looks to be rear seamed i think i can just about make it out in the first pic, the liner looks to have OD green webbing with the eyelet still in the front so would make it 1950's & the shell chin strap has the metal attachments rather than being sewn on making this a post war M-1 not WW2.

Agree with NIck on all and would add that judging from condition of the lid, if it were a front seam you'd see the Stainless rim shown through most likely. which you don't so most definatly a rear seam.
