    Hello Andy,
So you are talking the "Gee" for the PFF A/C. Do you have a line on some. I'm a combat data specialist for the 384th BG website and have access to photo copies of original loading list and formation charts. I could look into see if we keep that info any where if interested. I know I got the April 13 1944 Schweinfurt mission flight map.
    Let me know!!!!

    Nice one Nick
I was very lucky to find one complete, and at a fair price. No swastika's either!
Do you find it feels a little bit flimsy compared to the regular M1? Or is it just me. Possibly because the shape is less rigid than a regular M1?
Not much protection really if you consider all that stuff being thrown up at them.

    Hi Phil,
well I was promised Gee related maps, and the guy has just delivered them for me. I have no idea if they are Gee related, I've not had a chance to research, so here are a couple of quick pics I snapped. These came with some other stuff from an RAF Flt Sgt. I've also got some of his with flight plans on them of Alabama, presumably where he went to do his training.
I'd certainly be interested in seeing anything you have Phil.

That is awesome. They look like what GEE maps should look like with the 2 signals(RED & BLUE) being spaced equaly apart to navigate. That add's an AWESOME touch to your display!!!! Well Done!!!

    Thanks Phil!

Yep, they are Gee indeed. That guy was true to his word. Some of the signals have been highlighted on the one I have, I wonder if it was used on Ops?
I found these on the website I link to below.

I thought I'd just tack this on the end of this thread as I think this is a little unusual, and made me chuckle......
If anybody has ever tried to put a new net on an M1, then you just have to wonder how the devil this 17th Airborne soldier managed to
get one over a flak helmet. Perhaps that is why he was decorated..................

Very interesting that an airborne soldier would be using a flak helmet and not a traditional M1!
