    Default Vietnam period M1C helmet

Here I have a complete M1C helmet Vietnam period. The steel helmet has the para chin straps (anchor symbol) that attaches to the liner. The helmet is an ingersol helmet with stamp number 1 4464. The helmet appears to have been repainted and can be seen by the heat stamp. The liner is a Firestone liner with the fitted webbing dated 21 May 1967. Sweatband is dated 68, the nape strap is dated 68 or 69 (very faded) and has tape holding the loose parts together (see pics). The Mitchell cover is dated 68 and has a small blue star on the right side (done by its owner?) thanks for looking guys. I have a few more M1s to put up on here with a doughboy and a Kelly helmet and a few PASGTs that will be the U.S. part of my collection up will start my British collection next

I'm always frustrated as to why nearly all M1'c i've encountered over the last few years nearly always seem to contain either a 67 Firestone or a 67/70 Marmac, there were plenty of other contracts so its a bit of a head scratcher for me,but still a great worn complete set you have there, thanks for sharing.
    With Regards Jake.
