Steve.
Hi
Could you show close up pictures of the center stitching on both sides of the covers please.
Thanks

Attachment 158607Attachment 1586052 of the covers on the helmets are W.W.2 with post-war added EGA.1 cover is 1953 dated. 2 loose covers are 1953 dated.None of the covers in any pictures are depicted twice. I only did a pic of the green side thread.Rich A. in Pa.
I love those covers. I have 2, for some reason I like the brown cammo the best, but I put one of mine on the green side, just for the contrast, nice covers.
They are neat. I have 1 with the brown side out.The other 5 are green side out.Of the bag of covers I bought I kept the best for myself. These are it. The guy has no more. All he has are Mitchell and ERDL pattern left.Rich A. in Pa.
All the ones on helmets are as shown. They hang on a wall. The loose ones are in a plastic storage bin. I have a few more U.S. W.W.2 helmets. Rich A. in Pa.
When was the EGA placed on these covers? I heard the covers with EGA are Korean war vintage and not WW2.
The covers itself mihgt wartime, but the EGA was added post war. Any thougts?
Cheers,
Emile
as far as ive been able to find out is that yes with the EGA stamped on makes them Korean war era & even though some people believe it may have been during WW2 it has yet to be proven ?
