Im not too sure about this one, much better photos needed in my opinion, the liner looks nothing like a ww2 para , theres no extra straps and the head band appears to be too new and not fixed as you would expect, but id wait for more judgements
That is my thoughts too......
Cheers, Ade.
well its not even a US liner that's for sure don't know about the shell from those pic's & is definitely not a WW2 airborne helmet !!!!!!
looks like a post war surplus Dutch or Danish M1
definitely a non US helmet
Im sorry about this....i had to use my lap-top`s camera and made me take the pictures at odd angles manking it look screwed up. I will post new and better pictures soon..im sorry about the liner i was thinking of my german helmet (its all postwar)
PS: I`m actually Going to restore an original into a medic helmet!!!!!!!

Post war Dutch liner with repro US leather strap.
The shell has late type US strap, not Dutch. NL shell's are marked in the rim, i.e. U's, LS, VB, SW or VDN followed or preceded by figures indicating year of manufacture and/or lot number.
This is a composition.
Cheers,
Emile
Im taking new/ better pictures right now....
