    these are my m1s and liners. sorry wolkwolf for copying the way you posted your image. just thought it worked well.
    there is more i would like to get but the prices of these helmet are going up.
    there is a australian m1 in there too it is the one with the lighter green webing. and with the woodland camo cover on it. i would have taken the covers of to but i dont like to mess with them to much.

    I haven't posted the WWII ones yet.........

    The US M1 helmet was the first 'lid' that I 'fell in love with'.
    It is an iconic piece of headgear - and like the Coca Cola
    bottle or the WWII Willys MB Jeep, they are instantly
    recognisable.........!

    ( Love all German helms for the same reason.........! )

    much the same for me to walkwolf. the m1 helmet what i like about them as well is the fact that this helmet still evolved well after ww2 to the 80s, but keeping its shape in some way.

    Some great lids being shown! I especially like that silk parachute cover, Geelong!!

    1953 Blue Anchor contract USMC cover. Shell is a FS/FB McCord. It has a 52 dated CAPAC/Westinhouse liner (not pictured)

    This was a direct vet acquired set (Brigadier General). Cover is 74 dated as is the liner. Shell is RS/SB. The other liner was his during and after Korea. Couldn't find a maker on this one.

    heres my USMC M-1s

    in this pic on the left is the type of cover that has the mosquito net the middle is a WW2 1st pattern cover with EGA stamp & the one on the right is a 1950's version.
