    it may also have been attached to the Soviet tank. Lend & Lease stuff?

    jim that's a no.4 ww2 british periscope as fitted to all british tanks. it probably came from a finnish army charioteer or comet. i need one for my cromwell would you consider selling it. cheers

    Yes it came to Finland with the comets I have seen them also for sell in Finland

    i am changing them for originals as they come up

    i have just sold the cromwell and it is going to lithuania. very sad for me but at least i will have some money to tackle my other projects.

    Gundlach periscope was Polish design first used in TK tankettes and 7TP light tank - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rudolf_Gundlach

    Hey mates

    I found a part of this periscope in Romania. Used by the russians on Lend Lease tanks, perhaps Cromwell or even Vickers ?
