Default Help Needed Identifying Model of Tank

    Hi

My father bought a model tank recently but doesn't remember what type it is. Can someone help identify it? It looks vaguely like a Sherman to me but if it is then I think the turret is facing backwards!

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I agree on sherman, turret looks a bit big though, or the hull a bit small.

Oh yes I forgot the turret does flip up. I think there's a clock inside it. That might explain why the turret is bigger than it should be.

So Sherman seems to be the favourite so far (thanks for your replies). The turret is facing backwards then? I'm right on that am I?

first time on forum in a couple of weeks but thought I should answer
And yes by the looks of it the turret is facing backwards, Shermans have a long inclining rear end and a steep declining front end.

Looks like a Sherman M4A3E2 to be specific with the sloped armor and short gun.

This one looks like the turret is backwards, but it`s not,it`s a British Scorpion light tank.

I disagree. Suspension is different, and there is a turret at the front of the model shown, which the scorpion doesn't have at the back.

Are we going crazy here? It isn't any particular model of tank, it's a toy tank/novelty clock vaguely resembling a Sherman tank.
