    Default M6 Periscope

    Hello, gents!

I got a new toy in the mail!

It's an M6 periscope, used in American armored vehicles. For $30, I couldn't resist!

It is in mint condition and the optics are crystal clear. It is unmarked with the exception of the label for periscope adjustment knob settings and "M6 Periscope" plaque. With that being said, it's condition and lack of markings has me concerned that it could be post WWII...

Can anyone help me date this periscope? WWII or postwar?

    Thanks!

I have one the same but it has a small plaque on the side where yours says PERISCOPE M6 saying where it was made and the year (1942). Unfortunately it is nor with me at the moment or I could get some pics for you. Could still be a wartime piece.
