My G.I. built motorcycle.

Article about: Very cool but it needs a much larger rear sprocket as the front is as small as it could be IMO and it has no torque. Still very cool toy and I like it. Worked on all bikes until 6yrs ago 21y

Yes that was my old sportster, I sold/gave it to my brother. He picked the GI bike up for me in Kansas City, and then I had it shipped back to North Carolina. Funny thing was the guy I got it from was only 1 town over from where I grew up in Kansas.

As far as regearing the bike I'm going to leave it as is. I switched the pulleys from the engine to the trans and it has more torque now. At least I dont have to give it a push to take off now. Still not very fast, but fun to ride. I'll probably take it to the Reading PA airshow. It will be more than fast enough to ride around and show off with the crowds.

That's a great bike. A lot of ingenuity went into putting
that thing together, especially the clutch and Jeep transmission.
    Very cool.

I was addicted to the "Hokey-Pokey" but I've turned
    myself around.
