Ahh Get one quickly mate they are a hell of lot of fun when you get them in tricky situations and relatively easy to work on
You are right there. I can about cope with WW2 technology. Modern cars if they go kaput in the middle of nowhere, you are screwed!

    Hi, Rene !

Please post more shots if you have any !

Got mine in 1999 for $9000 CDN - really trimmed down - in need of small
parts for detailing correctly, like a pintle hook, 'Beechwood Canvas' top,
correct footpedals, original footman loops, rear seat and cushions,
repro 'Spartan' horn, 1942 mk'd gas can, spade and axe,
    brackets, etc.................$$$$ !

The guy I bought it from ( 'Willys Acres' here in Canada ) has totally
restored/complete versions today starting at $25,000 CDN !

Hope you don't mind a shot or two of mine here !

    G'day Steve
No problem on you showing yours mate Jeepy is currently in the garage and I need to find out why the generator is not charging, any way I took some more shots for you. I'd love to see what engine you have in yours

From what Ade has already mentioned, and from specific 'F' marked parts I see
all over 'Jeepy', you do have a GPW. Rene ! Ford Jeeps and parts are much
rarer than Willys - and more expensive !

Pretty sure my engine is from a CJ-2a, painted in 'Rebuild' grey.
I currently have a similar generator problem...............

I should have titled it a GPW and I knew that but I went off the engine
Check your earth on your generator as this was a problem in the past for me and hopefully is the same fault and only the wiring. I'll get the Wife to look at it as she replaced the water pump last time! Wish I had her around when I had to change the front leaf springs!!! I do get my parts from "Marathon spares" based in Tamworth NSW and have been very helpful, no web site though.
