    This would appear to be a Ford GPW as well.........


    There are a couple of books about the jeep called: 'The All American Wonder'
    - volumes 1 and 2, which I found informative and useful as well as
    reprints of original technical manuals.

    I don't think there are very many completely original WWII jeeps in the
    world these days. Most have repro parts somewhere in or on them.
    Interestingly, I believe one could build an entire WWII jeep
    today using nothing but repro parts.........!
