German made example. The star is also German made.
Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam!
hi every body
Here is the wool gym with green piping sold with the Kitel. Salty condition but rare item.
The shoulder boards come from another uniform. It is a rare pair of technical officer from border troops (Silk braid, silver stars)
This is another model , Unfortunatly a single board.
Could anyone Tell me the difference between the two types of insignias?
Best regards.
Jean Sebastien.
The insignia on the single board is for quartermaster.
The insignia on the tunic's boards is incorrect. It is for Railways Administration. Different thing entirely...
...and the stars should be golden also.
Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam!
Thank you for this answer Richie, do you mean that I simple need to find another insignia? do you confirm that excepted the wrong insignias these tunic's boards are good for an officer of borderguards ?
They are JS, and they are quite nice also.
You will need to find different insignia and gold stars (preferably flat examples).
Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam!
I think I have found a picture of a pair of boards of railway administration with the same insignias. I didn't know that there was a difference between the insignas with the white enamel and the model without white enamel. I believe that it was two models of the 2de type of insignias for supply troops. This is the first Time I see the Big difference between both insignas!!!!
Thank you Richie.
You can obtain the correct stars here: Collect Russia 13mm gold rank star for shoulder boards of a junior officer in non-combat unit, 1940s-50s. Soviet Russian
Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam!
Thank you for this suggestion
