    Outstanding Mundir!

However, I think it is 1950s...

And yes, the shoulder-boards are A-OK - Justice, medical, or small facets of administration.

    Thank you,
Are these tunics ever dated inside? I will have to dig it out of storage and look it over.

I am sorry but what do you mean by "NKVD Court"? Do you mean a soldier who works in the court system?

    Yes,
Richie gave a full answer to that.
The tunics like that I've never seen dated. But this does not made this tinic bad. And there no difference in the value- war time or post war for that kind of items...

After a closer look, and a bit more attentiveness, I feel that it is necessary to renege my earlier comment concerning the shoulder-boards that adorn this particular Mundir.

Being it so that the collar tab bars and the sleeve spools are golden, the proper boards should be the normal 60 +/- MM type & have a golden metallic or yellow silk lace.

    Dim is right on -

IMO, most (if not ALL of the non-General/Marshal type) Parade Mundirs are of postwar production. As far as this one is concerned, the stamped metal collar tab bars and sleeve spools make it post 1948 or so. Also, if I remember correctly, the cornflower-blue backing on both embellishments are 1950X introduction. If it is very important to the thread, upon request, I will check with a Russian colleague of mine who seems to know about these little details inside and out based upon his ownership of original printed archival regulations.

I own and have owned scores of different Mundirs from all the services, and have had only one that showed a maker stamp and date (the said being 1952r) located on the interior lining.

IMO, determination of "value" is placed upon you, the owner of such pieces and what price you are comfortable with selling them for.
