    I would say this matches up pretty well to an original. Type in "30 zinc Wound Badge" in the search function and you will find loads to compare to.

    I'm no pro on these so wait for more opinions. Not sure we can conclusively call it a silver though as there is no remaining wash left to compare to. I do not know if they produced "Black" badges in this style but they did produce gold and silver.

    Thanks MAP. I will say there is a tiny bit of silver left on it but it would not come out on the camera. If anyone has more input I would be very grateful. Thx in advance to everyone for your help.

    Thanks MAP my only issue is the catch dosent it look different compared to his? Or have they used that type before?

    The example posted is zinc, Ned's is tombak, different hardware altogether.
    I don't see any problems with the one posted here.
    It would be better if your front photo was a little clearer.
