Just wanted your opinion on this chaplains wound badge also dose any one have any info on these? Any one have one they can post pics off ?

Ow ok so is the badge a "fake" then and was this done by some solders after the war ?

Hi Alex, not a fake as such.

The story goes that a group of monks bought a box of unissued wound badges and from these they fabricated the Christian badges. So not wartime nor military but just a curiosity.

Lol yes pat ! Pretty cool eBay name lol I've been doing some more resertch on them and they are intresting little badges however i don't think there 100 pounds of interesting dose Amy one know how they cut the back out ?

I think it was most likely cut out in a similar way to "cut out" PKA's. Drilled & then filed. That's as much as i can tell you. Stewy
