Hello,
I am no expert but to me it looks like a repro.
Firstly I don't like the dots on the helmet It could be the bad photography but it looks to strange.
The reverse pin does not look right to me and the main problem I have is the fact an authentic early variation of the gold reich wb would be rare with a large price tag that would be sold very quick if authentic.
As I said im no expert but this is my opinion on it's issues, if I was you I would pass on it.
Well anyway thanks for info ...i have to wait what other members think about this medal..
gr andreas
I'd walk away from this!...
It's a repro badge known as the 1936 'Type 1' with a variant hinge and catch. Morigi's 'Regalia Specialist' website do a version with a round wire catch and pin for under £16.00.
Regards, Ned.
