Hi , i'm no expert on these but it looks good to me , the "pebbling" looks nice and straight on the front and the cast catch and hinge remind me of a type I have seen on other badges if I remember correctly(although my memory does stink!) Leon.

It's a nice original wound badge in gold...
Zinc construction, that lost all of its original gold finish. The pin retains all of the original gold paint.
