    Default Fake or real Verwundetenabzeichen

I bought this one pretty cheap and was willing to take the risk if it is fake. Could not find any marks on it. Thanks for any comments.

Hi , i'm no expert on these but it looks good to me , the "pebbling" looks nice and straight on the front and the cast catch and hinge remind me of a type I have seen on other badges if I remember correctly(although my memory does stink!) Leon.

Hi Leon, looks like "30" to me.

    Cheers, Ade.

It's a nice original wound badge in gold...
Zinc construction, that lost all of its original gold finish. The pin retains all of the original gold paint.

Thanks. That is great. The pin is golden colored. Did this badge used to be a gold and was worn away?

Maybe... or was lost over time... or it's a unfinished badge.
I have one wound badge like yours.

It is a silver grade for sure.

Shouldn't a '30' have the 4 cherries at the top?

Hi Glenn, yes that is right. I think it does show 4 in the pic?

    Cheers, Ade.
