    Its a black one with its paint rubbed off. Look at the black areas by the ends of the hinge.

    I believe it's a stripped BWB, my reasoning being the solder being so bright and clear, over years on genuine GWB's it turns a very dark grey. Furthermore, I think I can see areas where gold paint may have been sprayed on, possibly to cover points where the stripping of the paint has not been overly successful (see highlighted pic below). If I was to buy it, I would not pay anymore than the going rate for a BWB, and would also give it the acetone test. It is said that there are hollow gold badges from the period, but the actual proof is rather lacking if I recall. Not a badge for me.
