This is a known fantasy design. There are no known originals of a L/40 wound badge found to this date according to my sources.
Also this badge is a pretty bad fake IMO. These badges (in Schwartz/Black) were usually only made through die stamping as far as I know.
No LDO-list I have ever seen even mentions L/40 as a valid maker license in the first place.
