    Default L/53 Verwundetenabzeichen authentication.........

Hi guys and gals. I was hoping someone could show an authentic "L/53"
marked zinc wound badge. I have a chance at one, but need to know
what the reverse pin/catch set-up on an original looks like.

    Thanks in advance.........

Thank you, Nick. This is exactly what I needed to make a call on
what the reverse looks like. It is the same as the middle
    badge you've shown - but it's a silver grade.

One last thing I need to ask - is there a liner rivet on the
back of the helmets on your solid badges ?
    Regards,

    Steve.

Will do. The pin and catch are pretty unique,

Here finally, is the new L/53 badge. It would appear that the hinge
was put on crooked, but I think it's a nice one anyway.........

Nick, thanks so much for your help !
