This badge is marked 107 for Carl Wild, but I was wondering if the closure piece is correct. I have seen a lot where the closure pin is flatter than this rounded example.

The badge looks fine to my untrained eyes. There are variations in the type of catch, sometimes flat wire, sometimes round. Maybe one of the guys who knows more about these badges than I can confirm.
Have you tried a search here for a similar example?
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
This is a good one this setup is named the big hinge.
Thanks. Adrian...I did finally find another one with a similar catch on the forum.
As mentioned, a good CW ! One of the best makers imo

Hello there,
Everything about your badge resembles characteristics of a textbook Carl Wild produced wound badge in Silver. A good amount of finish on this one as well!

I agree with the previous comments, a good Carl Wild.
Here is my example.
