OK, thanks, good info from all. How much does a fair condition Gold badge go for today?

    Steve
They are hard to find, but the last I saw was 250$ so around that price would be good.

Steve, the one you've shown is misrepresented as a gold one - forget it.

I've seen some lately at around $250+ in zinc with good plating left,
and up to $400 with a hinged presentation case....

There are some available that actually were at one time gold plated zinc badges,
where only the pin remains 'gilt'. These are around $100.

But if you are going to get one, it has to be 'gold' ! !

I think the nicest ones are maker marked '30'
    Regards,

    Steve.

Those prices are pretty expensive. Maybe I will just get a Silver to go along with my nice #88 black one. If I see a Gold one for a good deal I will be sure to post it here first.

Maybe a low priced tombak like I showed, and you guys got could fill the whole for Gold, until I find a deal on a real Gold one.......if I ever do.

    Regards

They are rather expensive, and that is why I only have silver and black versions
in the collection - No gold one(s) yet.............

I sort of place the tombak one in the spot were a gold one should be
    in my tray...... !
    Regards,

    Steve.

The '30' is a favourite of many! A nice cased one would fetch $500!

The Deumer is a nice looking badge with a great feel ! Let me share mine again
