    Either way,Silver or Gold,...it still has a serious zinc pest problem... It wouldn't be for my collection!
    (But,I'm still somewhat leaning towards gold on this one, despite the "double Adrian opinion"..the edging of the reverse looks awfully Gold-ish in appearance-especially around the base of the hinge and at 3 :O'clock. The pin, itself, also looks quite gilty, at least to my ancient eyes....)

    The silver finish can tone to a gold colour over time. I have a Panzerkampfabzeichen which has little finish remaining but what is there in the recesses has turned gold.
