This is not a reverse hardware setup I'm familiar with.

Hi Wilko, good new images. But still I cannot recall seeing this setup.

Hi Jonas, I will keep looking. I'm not sure myself but am still hoping it is a good piece.

Mate, I've been looking at this thread for the last few days on & off. The hinge is definitely out of the norm. A production run using black badge components due to shortages? Who really knows? Personally I wouldn't write it off just yet, but if you haven't already bought it & are not really comfortable with it, give it a miss & look for an example that meets accepted criteria.

I have been spending some time trawling the internet today and have found a couple of GWB's for sale or sold on two sites. Both badges have similar hinge and pin set up as the one posted above. The first is by GLASER & SOHN L/22 and the second is by Grossmann & Co. Wien stamped 11. As I say these both have similar hinge set ups so I've not completely given up on this one yet.

I've not mentioned the names of the sites I found them on because I'm not sure if that is accepted practice, also I've not posted the images as again I'm not sure about that.

It should be a problem if you posted the images, and it's good to use the sites name as some are more reputable then others.
