There are two things I notice about this badge...1. It looks like it's been touched up with paint, and 2. I've never seen such a massive needle on a wound badge...
I look forward to the other guys' opinions...cheers, Glenn

I'm not feeling all fuzzy about this one. IMO it's trying to be an early unmarked Hauptmunzamt Wien (30) GWB. But the hinge is not like any I've seen before on an original. The lack of rings on the reverse is not a real concern as early ones did not have them, as Mac says, the finish does appear off, as if re-painted, but much better photo's are required of the front and back, hinge, pin(open, closed) and the catch which also looks a bit off in these pic's. It MAY be a Floch fake, there are similarities, but the photo's are not good enough, especially the obverse, it needs to be straight on and clearly focused.

On the images supplied here, I would not part with any money at all.

    Regards, Ned.

looks almost like brushstrokes on the lower helmet rim near center?

like a touched up "30" with some hardware anomalies. without better pics of the hardware (lateral views) i don't know. the pin should have a "head" on it.

It's also rocked up on GCA........It appears contentious wherever you go.

Thanks for the reply. The decoration is put up for auction (Verwundetenabzeichen 1939 in Gold od 1 zl (2529313875) - Allegro.pl - Wi).
I also have my bad feeling about him and why it is better to ask. - To spend money very easily.

The photo in the auction make it look great. I definitely do Not like both the pin and it's hardware, and, as has been said, it looks like it has been painted in spots. This is Not a badge that I would purchase. Very doubtful authenticity.
