Default Verwundetenabzeichen 1939 in Silber - unmarked

    Hi.,

I bought another wound Badge 1939 in Silver, but unmarked.
I've been watching and studying other theads, and looks like a unmarked PKZ 4, from "Steinhauer & Luck".
I need your help to confirm...

    Regards.,

    Hello there,

I believe this to be a Gold Wound Badge without any finish remaining.

    William Kramer
Us and them - and after all we’re only ordinary men. Me, and you - God only knows it’s not what we would choose to do. Forward he cried from the rear, and the front rank died, and the general sat and the lines on the map moved from side to side.

Looking at the pin and the finish remaining on that, I agree with William although as there is no finish at all on the badge it's hard to be entirely sure.

    Adrian.,

Is a typical unmarked 4 badge?
Why do you say that's a Gold Wound Badge without finish? because the painted pin?

    Hi.,

    Thank you all.
I've been compared to other similar gold wound badges, also with zinc construction, that lost all of its original gold finish, and also the pin retains all of the original gold paint.
The catch and pin hardware, looks like a unmarked PKZ 4, from "Steinhauer & Luck".

    Regards.,
