Hi guys,

Just got this in the mail.
It is an L/56 black badge in iron. The funny thing about it is, that it is also stamped at the needle with 116 !
I dont know if it is a common feature, but I have not seen it before .

Hello Marc,
I have seen one other black badge by F&BL marked this way so I am guessing it is a more unusual piece.
The badges by this maker are normally marked up with a 116 on the back of the helmet, an L/56 in large font at the back of the area between the sword blades and one like yours with the L/56 in small font with the pin marked 116.
It's in nice condition as well.

A first for me. I've seen an L/56 mark and a 116 mark together on the same badge, let alone 116 marked on the pin.
