Thanks Ralph for the pics of your badge. Mine looks like it has had a much rougher life. Have you ever done any repairs to catches or hinges? Wondering what is the best way to fix the catch without doing damage to badge. I am thinking some type of epoxy. Soldering would discolor badge.

I learned a little something over past weekend about these badges. They are over 70 years old and a degree of caution is needed when opening the pins. Probably best to have a dealer open a badge before buying and not to wait till one gets home and have catch pop off when opening
