Verwundetenabzeichen(gold)

Article about: A private purchase piece, perhaps...jeweler's piece? The needle almost looks square...

It's an interesting piece...perhaps for a funeral pillow?

Hmm... pin is too long, dots dont match in lines, and also poor details.....

IMHO its a copy but im not the expert

I would like to see better close up, sharp focus pic's of the obverse side as this could be an unmarked variant of the notorious Floch GWB. There are 'Coke bottle' pins, wide pins, L/14's, L/127's and '30' marked badges to name a few. I wouldn't be suprised if this one is amongst that number, but the current pic's aren't clear enough to tell.

    Regards, Ned.

I'm not gonna argue against better pics. As I said, this isn't a slam dunk for me. I am, however, not comfortable with what I see so far. Not entirely anyway. Let's see some better shots and maybe we can get a consensus here.

Let's see a nice shot of the front. I know what I don't necessarily like about the back. It would be great to see the pattern and details of the front of this piece.

Seeing these pics I must say I'm not liking the obverse of this badge. the rows of dots under the helmet don't look right to me.

Can anyone post a good obverse image of a Floch or two and compare the dot patterns?
