    The badge is by Wilhelm Hobacher of Vienna. Here is a link to a thread that shows one
    with this hardware variation. Look at post # 29.

    I quite like wound badges to have some wear and a bit of damage from age or battle. I think it gives them character and I like patina differences from tombak or steel ad the paint wear.
