    Yes Ralph, a lovely badge!

    It's in very nice condition also. Simply amazing how well medals were made during the period, and so detailed. And Ralph, your photos are always enjoyable.

    Yes, they are, that is why it is sometimes difficult to identify the un-marked ones. At least for me with my small amount of experience.

    What's your setup for shooting such detail? Do you use a macro lens on a DSLR?

    Hi Glenn,
    I use a Panasonic Lumix FZ7 that has a 12x optical zoom although I almost never use it except for taking photos of wildlife. I do use it in the macro function. I find the most important thing is lighting and a steady hand.
