I don't like all that pitting to the back and front, nor the metal used. Looks like a cast fake.
I agree with Ade, the pitting on both sides is a red flag, couple that with the poor details on the wreath which I don't think can be put down to wear and it's enough for me to pass on it. I'm sure the makers mark isn'tquite right either, can anyone post an original please?

The pitting is a concern but it doesnt nessessarily make the badge a fake.

This badge is not a fake, just a heavily cleaned original...
Looks like a good zinc L/21 Forster and Barth that has suffered from some considerable zinc pest.
Quite hard to find these silver examples.
