From whats left of the hinge its a possible Hauptmunzampt 30

I agree with Nick based on the hinge and catch.

That would be my guess as well. Only because I have the same set up on my GWB.

    Hello All
Did Hauptmunzampt make a badge with these obverse features? The helmet, sword handles & bow have the characteristics
of the Deschler/Weidmann variants. I would hazard a guess that on measuring this badge it would be slightly larger than normal.
I have seen the Hauptmunzampt style hardware as well as as the Weidmann lily pad hinge & other hardware variations on badges
    with this obverse design.

Nice find mate, no idea on the maker I'm afraid not my field. Looks like you are in good hands though

By the way, that M34 just walked through my door not 5 minutes ago, it's mint AND named

Well spotted Brett. At first glance and based on the hinge and catch hardware alone I woud have plumped for a Vienna mint identification also.

Your comments encouraged me to compare the thread starter against my own 30 SWB and although the angles are slightly different, I agree that there are substantial differences between the two. The devil is in the details as they say!

Sword handles - much slimmer on the 30.
Helmet - look at the angles of the skirt!
    Bow - clear difference.
