Default Verwundetenabzeichen - unmarked - silver? Real or cast

This badge is unmarked and not as "clean" as other solid wound badges I have purchased . It is non magnetic. Seems slightly thinner than others I have. Am I convincing myself it is a cast repro or is it a later made lower quality badge?

It's an unmarked Forster & Barth (L/21) zinc badge, shame about the poor condition though.

You can just see the L/21 under the catch.

Thanks to both of you for pointing that out...I did not see the mark there.
