    Another great badge to your collection Nick. I like the reverse hardware on this one. The catch looks a substantial and integral part of the badge, not like the usual soldered on catches we see on many badges.
    The makers mark is in an interesting place too. I wonder why they put it there when it would be so much easier to simply stamp into the reverse?

    Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

    Thanks Adrian, I have asked the question over on the WAF if this type and location of maker mark is unique to W&L , I am hoping someone will know here too !

    I believe they were the only maker who did this. My guess is that the crimp for the catch
    and the mark could be applied in one go.............

    Love the badge, btw, Nick !

    I have one by this maker too, and I've sometimes seen them advertised
    as 'unmarked' because the mark is not in the usual places
    and it gets missed !
