    I see from your manual you are correct, not sure if these were called HG as this one is similar to the WW2 model, just see them sold as such.

    Definitely a 'Sweaters Khaki'-Howard green was introduced the beginning of the 1980s strictly for field use but proved so popular that it became part of the service dress-I found the SK fitted into one of the 2 P37 Bren pouches I wore on my webbing then in the ARes and could be accessed in a hurry.
