I like Boonie hats. I have a "Hat Jungle Type II"
From what I've read. It was post Vietnam, issued to Rapid Deployment Forces
and to Seals and Delta.
I find that it works well for keeping the sun off me when I'm mowing the yard.

A lovely mint ERDL example Rene. I actually like this type and wear a Thailand made replica. They've been copying this design since the 1960's and the one I bought some years ago in Thailand used recycled Woodland fabric.
